1. Are therapy sessions confidential? 

Yes! All of my services are confidential and HIPAA compliant. Standard limits of confidentiality apply, these will be reviewed in detail during the intake process.

2. Do you take insurance?

Yes. I take Kaiser NorCal and Optum through Grow Therapy. If you have another insurance provider, I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to see if they have out-of-network coverage. I cannot guarantee reimbursement.

3. What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance to reserve another time. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, it will be considered a "no-show." The first no-show appointment will result in a charge of 50% of the total rate and any additional missed appointments will result in a charge of 100% of the total rate. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it will be considered a "no-show".

4. Can you work with multiple family members?

I can only see one family member for individual therapy at a time, however, we can integrate parent or family sessions as clinically appropriate. If other family members want to receive their own individual therapy services, I can refer you to another provider.

5. What can I do if I am having a mental health emergency?

If you or a loved one are having a mental health crisis, please contact one of the below crisis resources.
